I was at the landfill/dump yesterday, and look what was in the bins:

Unfortunately, not allowed to go into the bin to get stuff out. They both looked to be intact. Nice big carboys wasted.

I think in this case, it means you're not allowed to get them if anyone is looking.

Seriously. I am advocating that you break that long. Some laws are just unjust

I'd have snagged them, and if someone said anything I'd say sorry I didn't know, and keep right on leaving with my prize.

In all honesty, you need to go up and tell the person that gave you the no-go, and lay it out. "man, seriously...you don't understand my predicament. I am a wine maker and seeing those carboys lying there in is causing me anxiety and those that I've told as well. I'm loosing sleep and upping my Xanax. It's a travesty. Two jewels, waiting on the next car rotor to blast them into oblivion? What can I do to allow me to climb in there or pay you to do so?" He'll let you I promise. Either thst, or give me the address.
