started out as a bad year. I never got my posts in last fall, so I had 93 to put in this spring. Before I could get to that I discovered that my new area had a 50 foot by 30 foot swamp that was about 3-6 inches deep.
After filling in the swamp and getting the posts in, I finally got to plant.
I put in 90 delwares, all have new growth and look pretty good.
My 180 vidal blancs look good and are vigorous again.
 
That is what I thought when I seen the swamp.
if left like it was I would agree. I managed to fill it in and created a better drainage path for the water to go.after I filled it in I put down a nice layer of topsoil and mounded up where I planted.
We have had a few rains since then and, for the most part, the water is draining where I wanted it to go.
The new 90 delaware vines seem to be happy, at least for now.
