What's a good sugar to water mixture for making a simple syrup to back sweeten a wine like my Apricot?

Yeah - i do 2 cups sugar to 1 cup of water. Heat water to dissolve the sugar.

I bring the water to a boil then add the sugar. Stir till desolved. Turn off heat stir occasionally until cool.

I mad a apricot last year I added a f-pac and bask sweeten

Hey Tom is bask sweetening the same or similar to sun tea where it bask in the sun for a while. :dg
