should I have an airlock now

Hello I started a batch of blackberry Sun. 2/22. I followed the directions on the can of concentrate. It told me to just put a damp towle over my primary firmenter. After reading some treads in here I am wondering if I hould have put the lid on with a airlock or just wait for 5 days like the can said and then rack into secondary and put the airlock on. It is just bubbling away like crazy.
