I have a MM Renaissance Amarone in it's second racking and I'm getting ready to rack again, leave it for about another month and then bottle, the temp is only 62 deg, and the SG is .998. I've gotten a brew belt and I'm wondering if I should put it on now in the middle of the process? Will it help?

At .998 I'd say its pretty much fermented out. I'd rack it over to secondary.

Yep, I think its done but check again in a day or 2 just to make sure its stable.

once you get to 1.0, you are dry. sometimes the yeast just won't go lower because of the conditions (meaning, temp. pH, etc...)

If you can raise the temp to 75 deg. it is alot easer to degas the wine and get all the CO2 out.
