SC-300 blinks

I just got SC-300 for Christmas and the unit constantly blinks. Is this normal?

I did. I’m using new AA Duracell batteries. I also replaced with different set. Still blinks.

It is probably time to contact the manufacturer, they have helped many other folks on the site.

the display should be constant, it sounds like a connector on the liquid crystal is making momentary contact and they should offer a replacement. On a used for four years SC300 I have seem the connector for the probe was giving issues. The probe measures nanoamps, it is sensitive.
