I have been looking on the net and cant find much info on the sweetness or specific gravity of a finished wine, is there a chart or anything someone has or has a link to share, I'm looking for a chart of the sweetness or S G of finished wines hope this makes sense Thanks

Dry Wine .990 - 1.000

Medium Sweet Wine 1.000 - 1.008

Very Sweet Wine over 1.008

Two (2) ounces of sugar will raise one (1) gallon of wine by .005 or five (5) gallons by .001.

and if you dont want to use sorbate and just push the yeast past its threshold then this is what you would go by for starting sg's.

-------------------------------------------------------
Type Specific Gravity Sugar Content(wt%)
-------------------------------------------------------
Dry Wine 1.085 - 1.100 21 - 25
Medium Sweet Wine 1.120 - 1.140 29 - 33
Sweet Wine 1.140 - 1.160 33 - 37
-------------------------------------------------------
