Question, i started this kit some time in July and degassed wine on Aug 23. I plan to bulk age for a year. When do i start to add 1/8 tsp of SMBS every three months? The pack i added during the degas process should carry me into 6 months or more without adding again? I don't want to over sulfate, and if i understand correctly, you cant use tetra strips for red wine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
As long as your topped up well you should be good for ~ 6mo. I would add 1/8 tsp at the 6mo mark then every 3-4 mo thereafter.
