I have six gallons of Riesling wine that is clear and ready to bottle, however; it needs more body. Should I use glycerin to increase body?

Thanks

Glycerin or gum arabic will work, but add slowly, test, and repeat.

Maybe break down the six gallons into one gallon carboys and add different amounts to each until you get what you're looking for. Then blend them back together.

Also, won't ageing add some body also?

I have backsweetened the rieseling and the S G is now 1.004. Will the glycerin increase the sweetness?

Glycerin can add a sensation of sweetness, which is why you need to add it slowly and taste test. If you have back sweetened already, it won't make much difference in the sweetness. Still, add the glycerin in small steps.

Body?

Could have been tweaked prior to fermentation with Booster Blanc or Opti-White

You could try a tannin if you didnt want to go the glycerin route; something like FT Blanc Soft, just give it 4-6 weeks to integrate after adding
