Hi all
i have got my hands on a load of these crabb apples and was wondering if anbody has made wine with this crabb apple. they are very small and are wine red. I looked them up on the internet and they are edible. they are about the size of a cherry.
thanks:b

Ive never seen them or tasted them but they are probably not far from the ones I pick but mine are probably a little bigger, about the size of golf balls. Probably the same recipe to.

Go for it..just use any online recipe for crabapple wine... and if you save a few kilos in the freezer to go in with a bunch of different apples when you can get them cheap.. crabapples help make a cider really tasty.

I think that is the crab apple tree in my front yard. It is small and very sour but edible. Here goes another batch.:D
