Polysorbate or no?

Hey guys - The En Primeur Reisling/Gewurztraminer goes into clearing tonight. I have about have the suss reserve pack to add back in, so do you guys think I should add the polysorbate, or skip it?

Adding back an fpack that contains sugar will require the use of the pot. sorbate, unless you can sterile filter to remove the yeast.

ok thanks John. I always skip sorbate with reds. Just wasn't 100% sure about whites. Makes sense about the F-pack

No worries if you use it. Sorbate’s like birth control for yeast, keeps them from multiplying and hence renders them unable to establish a fermenting colony, so your sugar is safe.....and so are your bottles!!
