I was given about 10lbs of plums (weighed before removing the pits) and put in 3lbs of blueberries from last year. This is the last of 2017 wine making. 275lbs of sugar used this year. Lots and lots of wine... :db

Weather is cold. I saw faint signs of fermentation before moving from the fermentation bucket to the carboy. In the past I would put and electric blanket on high and wrap it around the fermentation bucket to help kick start the fermentation. An experiment, but after 7 days it is bubbling away, rather slowly because of the cold, but this can sit a long long time.
