Ok my girlfriend wanted me to make her a peach wine if i could so here is what im gonna do....

3 gallon peach test batch

64 oz White cranberry juice 100% juice
2 lbs 26 oz Canned peaches /w syrup
1 pack trolli peach rings
3 lbs sugar
2 tsp acid blend
3 tsp nutrient
1 tsp energizer
2 tsp pectic enzyme
2 tsp tannin

I boiled down the trolli rings in water along with 3 lbs of sugar, and mixed that along with everything else into my primary giving it an sg of 1.076.
So i guess im just looking for any opinions!

OK

Never follow recipes that blindly add Sugar, Acid Blend,
Check the can of peaches as to what preservatives it has. Then let us know BEFORE you start. It may NOT ferment.
I would double the cans of peaches. (seams light)

what are trolli peach rings??
(for some reason a gummy candy picture came into my head)

ok the peaches had no preservatives that was the first thing i checked.
As for the recipe im not following one i made this up on my own.
and yes trolli peach rings are gummi candy lol no preservatives listed so figured why not.

the sugar wasnt blindly added i was aiming for an sg of 1.070

I would also add more peaches. Peach is a lighter flavor and that cran juice will probably overpower it a bit.

thanks, joka...hadn't had one in years, but the old brain still popped the image up in my mind...
i would think the trolli rings might be similiar to adding peach flavoring?
keep us updated!

yes the peach rings are just for flavor (you could dmell them through the bag!) i might add more peaches as you guys are saying peaches have such a low taste

Tom is correct in not blindly adding sugar. I made a 5 gallon batch of mango today that called for 12 lbs. of sugar. Only took 10 lbs. to bring to 1088.

it just took 3lbs to get there that why it went over a lil
