Oxyclean or One Step

Is there a difference or will oxyclean do the same as One step?

one step will sanitize and oxyclean should only be used as a cleaner.
wash with oxyclean, rinse , dry, the spray everything down with k-meta. that's a lot cheaper than one step.

I understand they are the same thing I still always spray everything with k-meta whether it is one step or oxy-clean.

I tried using a K-Meta solution for a while, but found that it had very overwhelming fumes! They got to the point where my nose and throat would start burning almost immediately after taking the lid off of the bucket. (I had 3 gallons of it mixed in a primary bucket. After a few weeks I ended up dumping it and going back to using the Starsans. Not sure if I just mixed or stored it incorrectly to cause it to do this or what. (3 tablespoons KMeta per gallon)

Sarah you could not have done things more right and your k-meta was perfect. K-meta is for sanitizing though, not cleaning. After cleaning things in oxyclean or any other cleaner of choice you could rinse it with kmets using a spray bottle, pouring it over it or dipping it. Yes kmeta with the strong oder is an active healthy batch.
