RJ Spagnols Orchard Breezin' Watermelon White Merlot

I've made this before and really liked the flavor except it was way too sweet. Has anyone used these kits before and added the whole F-pack up front and then sweeted to taste when completed? I thought about adding half the pack and the other half at the end but wonder if it will still be too sweet.

I have made this kit with 4lbs of sugar up front and used around 3/4 of the f-pac at end but your method would work fine also but dont know how much flavor there would be, Id probably save a little for the end just in case.
