For those of us who experienced extreme winter temps this year (got to -16'F in my neck of the vineyards), here is a nice video Purdue put together on how to check if your buds are alive and get an estimate on overall bud death.

A nice video, thanks for the link. It is good to see the three buds as well. We’ve only gotten to the low teens, so I don’t expect any damage, but I think I’ll try this for fun before I start pruning Saturday.
