I was considering starting a vineyard (not a winery) near Red Bluff California but I'm not sure this region would be good for growing grapes for wine.
This area gets REALLY hot in the summer months (110s) and from what I could tell grapes are normally harvested in August which is a hot month and could make the grapes "jammy". Does anyone grow grapes in that area? Any experience growing in a similar environment? Results? Remedies?
