Hello, I hope everyone had a great start of the year. To be honest, the wine was an acquired taste for me when I started drinking it in 2016. The appreciation grows more whenever I learn a thing or two about it. I'm not planning to start making my own wine soon because I want to learn more about the process thus joining this community. - Clariden :)

Welcome. I would suggest you read the More Wine Making Manuals. They are free and contain a lot of information.

I am a learn by doing person and after getting a little understanding by reading, I bought a hydrometer, an airlock, SO2 and a packet of 1118 yeast. I bought some Welches grape juice without preservatives and went on to make completely undrinkable wine. However, it was wine and for less than $20 I learned the basic process.
