A friend recommended this forum to me! I have been making wine for about 5 years now. Literally started doing it because we had so many domesticated Blackberries we didn't know what to do with all of them. I got very lucky the first year - I had no idea what I was doing! I literally put fruit, sugar and yeast the wine turned out FABULOUS! Since then I have gotten a number of tips from my local wine making store. It is now something I take very serious each year and love it so much! We grow all of our own fruit: Blackberries, Blueberries, Muscadines, and Pears.
