New-ish meadmaker trying to crossover to fruit wine

Aloha!

I made a peach mead awhile back and ended up with a bunch of leftover peaches and no honey. So I looked up a peach wine recipe, it ended up tasting great, and now I'm here trying to learn some new tricks.

I've got a few questions (and I've done some searching!) that I'll be posting in the beginners forum, so if you don't mind I'd appreciate some pointers.

The URL for the MoreWine! manuals is in my sig. I suggest you dl the White Wine manual and skim it. Don't try to read it intently, else you'll go blind and insane in one action. You'll find the fruit wine process is not all that different from mead, and you should adapt quickly.

Try searching the forum for answers first, looking first at the Beginners and Country wine forums. In the process you'll get answers to questions that you didn't know to ask, and will formulate completely new questions. If you haven't already, you'll find this forum is very beginner friendly -- we want everyone to succeed.

Welcome to WMT! I made my first pure peach wine a couple months ago from a mix of Washington and Colorado peaches I froze last year. It's still aging so I haven't sampled it yet - I hope it turns out!

Welcome and enjoy it. There is alot of cross over with fruit wine and fruit mead.

Peach is one I still have to make.
