Hi All,
I just bought a house with south facing backyard that I want to put 4 trellis' in for Pinot 777 or Pommard Clones It is in Dundee about 400' elevation with excellent red dirt to work with.

I plan 4 lines about 75' in length each with 3' spacing between vines.
I have all the material to build the trellis but am in need of root stock to purchase.

I'll have 4-5 years to learn the wine making craft and my plan is a single barrel per year production which should get me in the neighborhood of 300+ bottles per year.

Can someone on the forum give me some advice as to where to acquire the root stock? I know a couple vintners who I can ask but wanted to see if there was anything commercial available.

Thanks.
Andy

There are a few hobbiest growing Pinot Noir in OR on the forum. I edited your title so that it is clear where you are located so it might stand out.

I have nothing to do with this picture, but I found it beautiful. (The owner allows links to it.) From http://fineartamerica.com/featured/bella-vida-vineyard-1-sherrie-rieger.html
