Hello, we lived in Canada for many years and made wine from kits for years, though it has easily been three years since then. During the move back to the U.S., my fermenter lid got lost in the move. I need to purchase a new fermenter and am asking for a good recommendation. The one I had before was only made in Canada. It had a temperature strip and liter markings. Can you recommend a good fermenter?

You probably had a 30 liter bucket, which is commonly referred to here in the US as a 7.9 gallon bucket. This is what many of us use here. They are readily available at your LHBS (local home brew store) or online. A common "brand" is L.D. Carlson. You can even just get a replacement lid for it here: Grommeted Lid for 7.9 Gallon Bucket
