Hi Everyone...
smiley1.gif

I'm new to this site. Just registered yesterday.

I am currently retired and live in Nebraska (lived in New England, Nebraska, California, Arizona, and now again in Nebraska).

I have been making wine for a few years (but have consumed wine all my adult life { and a bit in my pre-adult life also
smiley36.gif
}, have a 600 bottle cellar, and 11 carboy that are usually full).

Still learning a lot from great folks that are willing to help and share on forums like this one.

Here is a picture of me with my Italian Demijohn that contains an Amarone that I got last year (fresh 23L juice from Italy that I got when visiting my son on the East coast last Fall).

This is by far the best hobby that I have ever had!!!

I'm a bit "technology challenged" at times. I was trying to sign in and just see the "new" posts since my last visit but was doing something wrong.

I think I have it now, just use the "active posts" button (I was trying to do it via the RSS button). Now, I have a lot of catching up to do.

I have heard a lot of nice things about this board, its members (some of which I recognize from other boards), FVW, and of course... George.

Being a relative "newbie", I still have an awful lot to learn....

Again, thanks

Ok, here's a series... after you read, move down to view more of the story.

Ok here's me

Unfortunately, I'm naturally introverted and painfully shy.

Wine and scooters in combination can lead to lots of fun.

Where are you that you're having so much fun!? I want to go there!

Those were taken in Dallas - Mockingbird Station (Trinity Hall), Lower Greenville Ave. (The Dubliner), Deep Ellum (The Pawn Gallery - Mod party with Go-Go Dancers), and Lakewood (Carabba's). Last night there was another "Scoot In Theater" and I took a 4 liter bottle of that Peach Apricot that's probably 17.5% and just a touch sweet. Here's a few from there:

We killed the wine, had some margaritas somewhere in the middle of the first movie, and everyone had a large time.
