I've been using carboys for secondary but am thinking about moving to VCSS.

One of the appealing aspects of VCSS is the ability to manage different batch sizes, but I'd appreciate any inputs on how small of a batch can be held in a VCSS (meaning lid way down from the top),

More specifically, would it be practical to use a 200 liter VCSS for a 26 gallon batch (half full)? What about 15 gallons (~1/4 full)?

I know the lid will slide down as far as it needs to go and the 200 liter tank is 34" tall, so is it practical to reach down 17" or 24" to reach the seal valve?

I'd appreciate any inputs on the minimum % I should plan on filling a VCSS (and in particular a 200 liter tank) as well as any issues associated with only filling a VCSS 1/2 full or 1/4 full that I may be overlooking.
