Thanks Wino,

And

Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates it!

Happy Hanukkah to everyone celebrating that holiday!

Happy Kwanza to everyone celebrating that holiday!!!!

I refuse to say the happy holidays or season's Greetings... Call me old-fashioned.

OK, I'm out on a limb here.

I was in Italy this summer attending a conference. I took time out to go
listen to a talk by the Abruzzo Earth Society (about as near as I can get in
translation) talking about Wine, Olive Oil and Cheese.

Bearing in mind I don't speak a lot of Italian and these people were doing
exactly that, I did manage, through their pictures, and the odd word or
two to decipher their general point which goes something like this:

Italy is especially favored by God because HE provided
them with the right climate to make the best
- wine. Wine as you know is religiously important because Christ's first
miracle was turning water into wine at a wedding.
-olive oil. Olive oil is important in anointing Kings going back thousands
of years. Still happens.
- cheese. I got lost here but there you go.

Anyhow, maybe that's why the Vatician is in Italy.

But... with the Christmas season upon us, as well as Kwanzaa and
Hannukah, it is obvious that we should celebrate by eating and drinking
as much religiuosly associated stuff as we possibly can.

In other words, God gave us wine so that we could drink lots of it at
Christmas.

Merry Christmas to you all.

Peter

I'll also drink to that, first raising my glass for you all, in wishing you the Merriest of Christmas joy.

May you all have a safe and happy holiday.

Mery Christmas

Here's hoping everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday season. Let's remember our sevicemen and women all around the globe who can't be with their families this season.
