Marquette in Eastern VA

My 2nd year "test plot" Marquette is in full shoot mode. It is at least 2 weeks ahead of the rest of the vineyard. It doesn't appear the cold (below freezing) weather we had a week ago stunned them at all. Impressed.

Marquette breaks early and can get killed back by late frost. Mine was budding last week and I'll have to double prune to keep the rest of the buds alive. Hope you won't get bitten by a late frost; hope Eastern VA will be spared. I forget where you are located.
