Hello, what ismalolactic fermentation ? Then it start? And how to start this fermentatio be myself?

I'm a noobie wine maker. But, malolactic fermentation is a process by which a bacteria introduced into the wine converts malic acid into lactic acid. You can do it at home. But, you will need to add the bacteria, maintain a healthy wine temp, stir every few days, wait.... and test to see if the process is completed.
