Mac users...what program do you use for labels?ve

I have some artwork that I have scanned to an image file and I would like to add some text to it for my labels. I am having trouble finding a suitable program.

What do you guys out there use to do this?

I work in Linux and use Scribus for my design work, it is available for Mac as well.
