Lomanto grapes

I had not heard of Lomento grapes nor of T V Munson, the man who created them. Given the lack of response, it seems I'm not the only one.
This site has overview information of the grape, which indicates low sugar is likely so chaptalization may be required. There is a link at the bottom of the page to contact a county office -- you may get useful information from them.
My curiosity spiked, I located wineries that sell Lomento wine -- the ones I read make it dry. It supposedly has a strong color. Depending on flavor, I might use it as a blending grape to improve color.
Now I'm wondering if it's for sale here in NC ....
