What is your exact location? How much is cleared? Other questions would be more specific to vineyards such as direction facing (South, SE,SW are best), degree of slope, last and first frost, mineral composition, what crops have been grown in the last 50 years, roads into the property? Probably several million more.

16 Watters Road Hayesville NC 28904. Approximately 20 acres of hay fields. Mostly flat. My great grand parents farmed it in the 1900's thru 1950's. It has been used since the 1950's as pasture & hay fields since then. Mostly flat some parts facing the east. There main paved roads to the property. Old Hwy 64, Cherry Road, Watters, Road.

Oh wow; you are nearly in GA. I'm in VA; hoping you were in the Boone/Blowing Rock area. Anyway, that sounds really promising. Pasture and hay should make for good vineyard land. Hopefully you can find a good tenant. Are there wineries/vineyards in the area? Often the existing vineyards have outgrown their space and are looking for land to lease.

A great idea, and grapes are the kind of plant that does not require strong care.
