Hi, my all juice kit is a little slow to start, so I will prob need to leave it in the primary a couple extra days (leaving town for overnighter on day 5). Is this ok? I assume yes, since it's not a really long extended time period, but wanted to ck with some pros.

Thanks!
Jack

Have a nice time. Check it just before you leave You may want to transfer around 1.020ish

Jack,
You didn't say whether you are fermenting with your primary lid snapped down tight or loose on your primary. As tepe said, you should transfer to your secondary if the SG is 1.020 or lower before you leave. If not, just be sure your lid is securely fastened and an airlock in place. This will keep a layer of CO2 on your wine and help protect against oxidation should your wine finish fermenting while you are gone.
