Ideas for storing 375ml small bottles?

Hi all. I just purchased my first batch of 375 ml bottles and wondered about your ideas for storing these. Boxes? Filing cabinets? or simply miniature wine racks? I don't need anything fancy since they'll be in an unfinished basement, but would be interested in hearing about or seeing pictures for storing small bottles. Thanks!

why not store the bottles in the box they came in?

I keep mine in the boxes they came in until I use them. Then they go on the wine rack - I just have to be careful that they are placed correctly and don't fall through.

The bottom 3 rows are 375ml bottles. I did decide to store them on the bottom racks so they don't have far to fall if (more likely when) I accidentally fail to line one up correctly and it falls.

I fear this as I've experienced a small avalanche of bottles from about 5' high.
Good safety measure by keeping them down low!

When we built our basement, I created boxes that I screwed between the studs, with the backs facing into what remained of the crawl space. These are excellent for storing bottles, as long as the bottle sizes are consistent. My 375 bottles are mostly the slender brown type, and they stack well.



While this solution is specific to my situation, building a smaller version of a bulk storage rack may work. It's very efficient in bottle storage if you have many bottles of a single wine.

Once my son moves, we are going to build a rack for him that stacks bottles vertically in columns. It's not as space efficient, but works well.

That looks nice. I think I may build something simple and use the boxes as a backup. I really like the looks of these little bottles!

One of these days I’ll build myself a proper storage system. But until then the cardboard boxes that the bottles came in work for me. I keep the tops open and folded in and set it up on its side. I only stack it two boxes high. And I shim up the bottom front 3/4” for a slight pitch
