Skeeter Pee is so damn good, I was wondering why there are aren't a dozen commercial versions available. Found this yesterday. Granted, the wine section in my local Kroger is small. The distilled spirit section is a bit bigger. I think rural Ohio is more interested in 'shine than wine.

My guess is that's a white wine (probably Chardonnay) with extra lemon flavoring added. Not quite the same as skeeter pee, probably has a bit more body to it.

Yes, this is grape based. My point was that I'm surprised more commercials haven't ventured into "skeeter pee" given it's popularity and great taste. Maybe it's a niche market? Maybe it isn't cost effective and grapes are dirt cheap to them compared to lemon juice?
