Has anyone made Hibiscus wine by boiling the Roselle Hibiscus petals and pods (not dehydrated) from the Hibiscus plant as opposed to using the dehydrated Roselle Hibiscus flowers? Does it matter either way?

And what yeast should be used when making Hibiscus wine?

This will be my first time attempting Hibiscus wine?

Thank you.

I’m jealous.all my roselle died and my seed is not viable anymore. I’ve canned them but haven’t made zinger wine. have you thought about taking the seed pod out ?

i made my own little tool to take them out.
