I prefer dry reds. Im doing a cabernet kit now. But, after falling into the youtube rabbit hole i want to try some other fruit based wines such as banana and pumpkin. Im also about to start a mead.

Reds will be easier because they have polyphenol antioxidants. Dry is always easier since one doesn’t have to inactivate residual yeast.
All that said I first was gardening so I do lots of fruit wines.
Nice, I failed to mention i have a pinot grigio kit waiting and I also have a chocolate dessert kit 1 week in primary.
