I am on my 3rd batch by myself. I really enjoy winemaking. I have a drug store and make it in the back room. When it starts to ferment I go back about every hour, smell the valve and say something like "chemistry in a bucket" or "look at those little yeasts go." I enjoy the process as much or more as drinking the wine. I guess it reminds me of old lab work.
