Hawke’s Bay Merlot (WE) (aged with 2 American oak heavy toast spirals and 30gm Hungarian oak). Cleared 4/28/18, Bottled 8/17/2018 - tasted first bottle on 7/17/19, its a solid wine that will continue to age. Very drinkable now.
I do have a another 12 gallons bulk aging right now waiting for a turn in a barrel. I’d didn’t own any barrels when I did the first batch listed above.
