Does anyone know whether these small hand held fruit presses can be used to crush/press small quantities of fruit when making wine?

The hand press is not practical for making a gallon of wine.
This is an excellent tool for making lab bench samples as 200ml for a specific gravity, ,, also note it takes a lot of hand strength to press some fruit.
Thanks that makes sense. I do anything from quarter gallon batches, so it should work for that

HUMM , , , at present for anything over 500ml I use a 600 pound bar clamp with srainless perforated steamer basket and round press plate made out of a cutting board and a thin SS pan with 1/8 ” nylon hose barb ,,, (parts from Goodwill or StVinnies ,, about 6” round SS). For gallons, a still larger basket.
Hand pressing is very limiting ,,, even if I have just three bitter sharp apples I am testing.
