On a 5 week stay in Guatemala and Belize and have no idea of wines here. Anybody with some experience. Only one promoted is a fruit wine called Nisipoko, which kumquat related.
May be forced to choke back ok some Chilean Malbec.

Unfortunately the tropics aren't known for their grapes, if they're grown there at all. Best bet is the Chile/Argentina wines that you may find. You may find a high-end liquor store in the city that has wines on the finer side. If you can't find that, then best to enjoy a cold beer in the afternoon sun
