I am very new to this sport called wine making. I bought a starter kit at my local wine and beer making store which is 90 miles from my house. I just bottled a batch and it tasted pretty decent. We will see if it tastes better in a few months. I have read many of the threads here before I joined, and I appreciate all of the advise and expertise given throughout the forum. I am learning slowly but surely.

Hey, hayfire -

Welcome to the forum!

Yes, it should get even better as the months go by.

Patience is hard to come by sometimes, especially when it tastes good even when it's young!

Wow...90 miles to your LOCAL!?! Home Brew Store!!!

I guess everything IS relative, Huh!

What did you make for your first batch...a kit...or a batch with fresh fruit?
