Just a quick intro. I have been lurking on the forum for awhile now and just getting around to doing an intro. I have made a few batches of wine from bottled grape juice and apple juice which have turned out well. I enjoy having my own homemade wine on hand as well as sharing with friends. I have a few Muscadine vines that I planted about four years ago and I am learning how to manage them. Had a fair crop this year and made jelly out of them. Hoping that next year I will have a large enough crop to justify trying to make some wine from them.
I also have a couple of hives of honey bees so one day a batch of mead might be in my future.
