Hi.

Moved into our new home few months back and old owners left a very fruitful grape vine.

I have just picked what has grown but have no idea what type they are or what to do with them.

Pretty sure they are some type or wine grape. Would be great if someone could point me in the right direction, shame to see them go to waste.

Thanks.

The short answer is to crush the grapes (remove large stems), check the specific gravity with a hydrometer to determine the amount of sugar (adjust upwards if necessary), then inoculate with wine yeast.

The longer answer is to read the first 2 publications on this page, which go into great detail regarding how to make red wine.
