Has anyone made wine from these varietals, i just found a local supplier.

Some people love to work with Frontenac in general and it can be a very versatile wine grape. I am not in that camp. Frontenac tends to be overpowering in taste and aromas and it can be extremely acidic. Frontenac gris can make a nice wine but I have made more bad ones than good ones and gave up on it as a wine grape. The acid is the same issue with it.

I have begun to make Frontenac as a Rose and that has been selling well.
