Fresh berries

I'm making a berry wine. I have store bought frozen berries that have probably been pasteurized. Can I add some berries that I bought fresh and froze or should they be pasteurized?

Store bought pasteurized, frozen fruit ok, as long as preservatives weren't added. Great to add fresh fruit to it, no need to pasteurize fresh fruit. Thaw to room temp before adding yeast. If you can, check your starting specific gravity with a low cost hydrometer. It will let you know your starting % sugar and also let you know when it is done fermenting.
