Freezing Yeast

I purchased not long ago a packet of yeast and Yeast Energized. I didn't need it at the time...I was wondering of freezing the yeast and energized would harm them?

I do not know if freezing would be harmful, but I do know that refrigeration is good, all of my yeast is in the fridge......just set it in the fridge, it’ll keep well until at least it’s posted expiration date.

I keep mine in the freezer and it doesn't hurt them.

our LHBS keeps all yeast in a big walk-in freezer. I've been buying from them with no issues, I just give a yeast a day or so to come to room temp.

Don't know for sure but would think that freezing liquid yeast WILL affect the viability of the package.
