hello.
im super new to wine making and mis-read the instructions on my wine kit. I forgot to stir the juices well before I addded my yeast...... The kit says not to stir for 48 hours now and im worreid the yeast wont have enough sugar, since it looks like its all sitting at the bottom. Will my wine be ok or will the yeast die. not sure what to do please help

Hi bre13lee - and welcome. Nothing to worry about. Yeast don't have lungs and they don't breath air like we do although they need oxygen to reproduce and engage in some quite critical metabolic processes.

Stir it up good. It's also a good idea to stir it at least once a day during the primary fermentation to help introduce air into the wine. The yeast need it to reproduce. This is the only time that 02 is good for your wine. After the SG drops below 1.020, do not stir to introduce 02 any more.
