Quick question,

Should I filter then back sweeten or does it not matter?

Assuming you are using potassium sorbate? I like to have a wine that is completely settled, SO2 up to date, then racked and filtered the day before bottling. Filtering is as late as possible for me.

What I would like to do is K-Meta, Sorbate, sweeten then Filter because I thought that might give the clearest wine, but it sounds like I need to filter 1st, then stabilize and sweeten.

Have you had any issues with it reducing the sugar level when filtering last?
