Assuming you are using potassium sorbate? I like to have a wine that is completely settled, SO2 up to date, then racked and filtered the day before bottling. Filtering is as late as possible for me.
Have you had any issues with it reducing the sugar level when filtering last?
If the sugar is properly dissolved into the wine, the filter will not remove it..
