New to the wine making! First batch of Moscato Is almost done and ready to bottle. Wanting to do a red wine next. Anyone like the red kits? What would be a kit for me to make that’s semi sweet/semi dry? I don’t like dry wine but not super sweet either.

If you can find one, an RJS meritage. See recent posts. :)

@Braden. Any red kit wine will work. Buy the red wine kit that you like best, ferment it to dry (SG 0.992 or so), stabilize it with Potassium Sorbate and then back sweeten the wine to SG 1.000 or so.

I just made a VR Diablo Rojo that is drinkable at 2 months. I’m going to let it sit a while longer. Depending on how much of the Fpack you use you can make it pretty sweet. I used half and it’s off dry
