I have a gallon that was the bottom of the 6.5 bucket. it is the last gallon of my racking. so i just dumped all the junk in that jug.
it has approx 3'' of dunder on the bottom, and about the same on the top
what i find fascinating is the yeast as it goes up, then down, back up,
explodes starts all over.
I know what the outcome of this process is.
but, what is the actual process my lil yeastie buddies are going thru
