i'm thinking about making an f-pack to add back some of the berry flavor to a dragon's blood … which has gotten me thinking (dangerous, i know)

when you make the f-pack it looks like you start with fresh fruit, sugar, water and maybe acid blend … simmer down … then what??

do you add it with fruit bits and all? strain? add it before wine is clear and let it all clear together? add before or after stabilizing?? if doing it after stabilized need to add kmet or sorb again??

appreciate all the advice!
 
If you do not stabalize before adding, it will probably referment. I would probably try and strain some of the gunk out of it, but you do not have to, it should settle out as it clears. Think I would hold off on the extra sugar til it is added to the D.B., taste and see if you want more sugar. Or wait til it is clear to taste it and then add extra sugar if it needs it. You mite get enough with the f-pac. Arne.
